Falmouth enjoys rare natural advantages. It is the 'first and last' port of the English

Channel and possesses the world's third biggest natural harbour - which in turn

adjoins the shipping lanes to  N. Europe. It can serve vessels of unlimited size in

 Falmouth Bay.

This historic port of refuge is also a rare combination of industrial centre and

leisure and holiday haven, being situated in one of the most picturesque and

unspoilt parts of Britain. It has many  attractions to the visitor - first class hotels,

fine restaurants, & sought  after beaches.

Closer than you think

Greatly improved communications have brought Falmouth much closer to the

business and industrial centres of the UK & Europe. Continuous improvement of

trunk routes and new roads and by-passes have made Britains motorway network

easily accessible. There are scheduled daily flights between London,Stansted,

and Newquay  (approx 48 km from Falmouth),operated by Air South West & Ryan

Air.  A fast train network connects Falmouth to London in a little under 5 hours.
